Hey there! My name is Scott Bazzle. I am a technology enthusiast from Marysville, Ohio.

For the last 15 years, I have worn the labels of web designer, photographer, producer, animator, video editor, composer, content creator, blogger, and podcaster. I throw myself into the digital lifestyle on a daily basis, and it's this love of technology that allows me to use one of my favorite human qualities: creativity.

The biggest creative avenue I've had available to me for nearly all of my life has been music. I started piano lessons in second grade and was in band class from fifth grade to college. Even though music wasn't my ultimate major in college, the music building was my escape from the stresses of collegiate life. And even into today, I find myself sitting down to the piano or picking up an Irish whistle (another favorite of mine) when the daily beat of life gets to be too much.

But music hasn't been just an outlet for stress. Music is where the creative process really begins for me.  I have a knack for improvisation, and it's that skill that I use more than any other in music. My musical style gets a lot of inspiration from the music of George Winston (think Charlie Brown), film composers John Williams and Hans Zimmer, classical composer Frédéric Chopin, and the entire genre of Irish and Celtic music.

I have used this improvisational talent many many times in my life, but none as successfully as on the video sharing web site, YouTube. Back in the spring of 2006, I thought it would be a fun idea to make a video of me just sitting down to the piano keys and making up a song on the spot. That video lead to another, and then another, and numerous videos later, I've had the privilege of broadcasting my music to a worldwide audience over a million times.

This is really where my creativity has exploded. Blending music with all the knowledge I've built up in the areas of computer graphics, video and audio editing, and visual effects, I've been able to come up with some really fun videos that people all seem to enjoy. That has been such a great pleasure for me, and all that has segued into the release of my debut album, "Improv". It had been a consistent request from the viewers over the years, and getting it finished was a great moment for me.

I constantly strive to push myself with each successive video release, whether it be a new video editing technique or a new style of music.  I am a huge proponent of education, especially when it pertains to personal interests.  Learning everything you can about something you're interested in only helps to advance your abilities and allows you to stretch your creative process as far as it'll go.

Outside of my Digital Fortress (my computer room), I enjoy movies, cycling, swimming, traveling, and basically anything to do with summer.  Because unless I'm skiing, winter can bite me.  ;)
